First hardcover of the year. Too big

One thing I hate about modern day romance is the reference to pop culture. Really defeats the point of escapism I want when I’m reading but that’s just me eh 😂.

Second book in the series. Look forward to how it goes. I’d like to say the writing is much better than the first in my opinion. I feel like the second book in a series tend to always do the trick and this is shaping up to do just that. That being said still early days 🤷🏾‍♂️
