So good, getting better! Started down the road to World War I not too long ago and it gets more and more exciting to read. No more monks and inbred rulers! Onto modern diplomacy and warfare!

Good so far, interesting to see the structure of government form over the centuries and to see how massive of an effect the Mongols had on Central European development.

Very good!! Extremely eye opening, changing not only how I negotiate but also how I debate, talk to people, give advice, and think day to day. Highly recommend!

Taking a break on this book for now. I think I had envisioned a different type of book than what it turned out to be, it was still interesting and I’ve learned quite a bit of salt trivia but it’s not the most engaging read for me personally and sometimes it felt like a chore to pick it up. But I realized no one’s making me read this so it’s ok!
