Lou Wanjun has added an interesting layer to all of this… Will the miscommunication be frustrating? Maybe! But I like that she’s lowkey here out of pettiness and not just a jilted lover

turns out this is the first volume we read before finding all the others, but we’re still revisiting it because i don’t remember all the little details

borrowed this from the reading room in cascapedia, i feel like im stuck in a physical book reading slump, so im thinking something short might help me through it

much talk of religion and jo is a little odd… why are we wishing to marry and love our older sister?? all that to keep meg in the family forever

Meg was really relatable this chapter:

“What shall you do all your vacation?” asked Amy, changing the subject, with tact.
“I shall lie abed late, and do nothing,” replied Meg, from the depths of the rocking chair. “I’ve been routed up early all winter, and had to spend my days working for other people; so now I’m going to rest and revel to my hearts content.”
