Gosh I love you Carrie Soto. And Javier. And this whole book is giving the long drive home with your dad after an away soccer or basketball game

I love everything about this book. I want to read it slow and savor it. The main character is perfect, the guy is perfect, the storyline is insanely interesting. The Big 3! I also want to punch her family in the face.

Sydney Billman is on page 111 of 721 of American Prometheus: The Triumph and Tragedy of J. Robert Oppenheimer
I just finished part 1 and I want to reflect. This part focused on his upbringing and schooling, and though he grew up more privileged than most, his work ethic is what gave him all the success he would achieve. I’ve enjoyed getting a look into his childhood and early adulthood because it’s clear how his experiences have shaped who he would become. I admire his curiosity and passion for everything (Sanskrit?).
