Overall I’m appreciating how there’s a mix of history and current experience of the author and people that he chats with along the way to piece together what trails really mean and how they’re formed. Super interesting and definitely makes me want to read more about how parks/trails are created

elephants! didn’t realize how into trails they were. some cool info littered around. it’s been an easy pick up and read a few pages before bed. but haven’t been able to sit and read it in a long stretch. would probably a fun camping book

lots of ants 🐜 and caterpillar 🐛 trail talk. interesting though! more of a thinking book than a casual, brain off, type of book.

there’s already so many cool things and places i want to look up! and need to because there’s a lot of science terms lol but interesting so far!

So far pretty silly, setting up the cute small town vibe. I feel like because of the books I’ve recently read, I’m reading too much into the “perfect town” lifestyle vibe and assuming there’s some sinister stuff going on behind the scenes.
