Sooo I got this on a blind date w/ a book months ago - I didn’t realize this was book 2 in a series so I guess we’ll see how it goes?

yall… im sobbing. I was so not prepared for the emotions this book would be giving. I’ve teared up more times than I can count - how is this book not an all around 5⭐️ ??? I’m so pulled into this book & am so emotionally invested it’s actually insane. Anywhooo… this is such an impossible situation & I wish I could read faster to know the ending. But at the same time, I don’t wanna know the ending🥲

I’m so confused why this doesn’t have any chapter markers ? There’s just a giant blank gap signifying a new chapter. Kinda frustrates me tbh lol

In usual Alex Aster fashion, this book is so hard to put down. If I didn’t absolutely need sleep to function, I’d probably finish this in one sitting. Team Oro for sure !!! (possible change to Grim in the future, stay tuned)

Such a great book but if I read 1 more book where the guy says they’re gonna k!ll another guy for looking at/touching I’m gonna rip my hair out. Can we plssss have more interesting/diverse male characters😶

I wish I could have SOMETHING positive to say, but I truly don’t :-( summer based romance but the cover is so very clearly fall ? All the references to The Pumpkin Spice Cafe but this takes place in the summer ?? So misleading. The font makes it hard to read, especially during dialogue because instead of using quotations, apostrophes are used 🥲 so far, 2/10 just because the cover is cute af

whats with this "i can trust him as far as i can throw him" every time someone describes their trust ? idk if i can take that statement again lol

Ana does such a good job of making me not want to put the book down. Between the twisted series & ACOTAR, I’ve been forced out of my slump 🥲

I was wishing for it to be Ava & Alex again (I didn’t know each book was a different girl 3) but so far I’m 50/50

I know I said this was boring earlier but … I’m in love with it now. It’s so cute & I love how this book shows a different side of everyone … even Tamlin.

I understand the ⭐️⭐️⭐️ reviews so far. It’s weird that the “Cassian” chapter is written in 3rd-ish person. I’m honestly just bored with this book so far, but I loved the other 3 books in this series so I must see it thru 🙏🙏🙏

The change between then & now is so weird — almost frustrating 🫣 wondering why there couldn’t have been a prologue to get all this info out ???
