This book caught my attention when I visited a small bookstore in Medina a few weeks ago. Since I’m on an emotional and spiritual journey this month, I thought it would be the perfect time to return to the basics and deepen my understanding of Allah SWT.

I’m taking my time with it, allowing myself to absorb as much knowledge as possible and I’m truly enjoying every bit of it so far!!

I’ll put this one on hold first since I have to return the book today. I promise I’ll get back into it when I have the chance to! I really do want to know where the story takes me, but such slowwwww books are not for me at this point of my life.

Okay… the reviews didn’t lie when they say this book is for patient readers.

Not saying that as a bad thing - I am genuinely enjoying it, feels like a leisurely walk with the author through a quiet park on a calm Sunday morning.

We’ll see how this goes, it’s been a hectic week and the online library only lets me to hold on to the book for 7 days😭

Heartbreak season.

The library app recommended me this book so I decided to give it a go. Can’t tell if this is a horror or thriller genre book, but it’s been a while since a book of such genre caught my attention.

Hope this won’t disappoint, since it’s literally the 2nd book I picked up in years🤣

A year ago, I promised myself I’d start reading again, but life got so hectic that I ended up shelving that goal. The thing about me is, once I pick up a book, I have a hard time putting it down until I’ve finished it. So, I feel like it’s time to dive back in. I need to find a balance between my hobbies and my career. Ever since I started working, I’ve been putting my hobbies on the backburner🥲
