This is a DNF… if this author is queer, I’ll eat my own tongue. Her queer rep is horrible and tokenizing. And she verbatim says “Jay looks to be Asian, but I can’t place it. It’s probably for the best that I don’t ask right now; not the ideal time to play ‘Guess the Ethnicity’ while drunk.” So like, also racism ✨ it’s a no for me. Also if this book had an editor they should find a new profession

I don't know if I can finish this 🤦🏻‍♀️ once again she has me feeling SAD THINGS and I'm reading romance for happy things. (it's me, hi, I'm the problem, it's me)

So glad I convinced the Miami library to buy this book. All the good Woman-in-STEM™️ rep.
