I’m disappointed and I’m only halfway through. The first part of Little Dog’s story as the son of Vietnamese Immigrants in Connecticut is another cliche tale about an Asian American kid who just wants to be “normal.” I would’ve been more invested had the book explored what it meant to be Queer and Asian. That’s a much more interesting story.
