I'm deciding that this boy (Charl) is trans once and for all now

There's a lot of things pointing to it, I'm not sure if it's supposed to be canon, but it's canon in my head at least

This has the word "handsome" twice in the blurb, which is a big red flag for me, but the rest of the blurb was interesting enough that I'm giving it a try, and so far it's pretty good
Also, I had a hunch that this was a spin-off, and I was right

Can I just say that I love how Circe singing for herself when she's alone is a sign of her growing confidence and freedom, because yes, me too

I'm not sure if that made any sense tbh but i just want to record that thought

And yes, I will definitely finish this book by friday. absolutely. easy-peasy. no sarcasm here.

Completely did not realize that the guy's name is Saint until now. I thought he was an actual canonized saint, which doesn't really make sense with the rest of the story.

End of part one, started listening (eaudiobook version) again after a week, and got through 4 more %s before having to stop and listen to emotional support girl in red. Idk if it's the narrator or the writing or the romance or just Tori, but I am not loving this as much as I loved Alice's other books. And those most recent scenes... At least it's making me feel stuff?
