Some great cinematic moments but honestly could have been tighter. It’s looooooooooooong.

Decent. A bit overrated. There are many other books that cover this kind of story and do it better.

Bailing on it. Can’t get into it because there is nothing driving the plot forward. Hard to tell the characters apart. First section of the book set in Vietnam is interested then there is a section set back in France that is dull and a slog to get through. Nothing happens. Still struggling to tell the characters apart, and honestly, I don’t care enough to continue reading.

A little dry but punctuated by intense vivid descriptions of warfare.

Great reading about the WWII allied invasion of Italy and France from a correspondent that was there. Easy to read and full of details I have not heard before.

Stephen King sets up a decent premise but has no idea how to have a satisfying climax and resolution. Im reminded why I bailed on his books decades ago.

Starts off as a Victorian drawing room drama and turns to horror. Classic.

Three stories. Jekyll & Hyde has more depth than you might think of you only know the story by reputation like I did.

Pretty good. The last two chapters are anticlimactic but I guess are needed for historical purposes.
