I was bored and curious, and decided to read "Twilight but Ed's POV, the Tome" and goddamn. This guy is a mess. Dramatic, obsessive, delusional, violent. The book doesn't give me a better impression of most of the cast, but it is an entertaining read. His "family" have a Tribal Council to decide if they'll murder Bella in cold blood. Hello????????

This book is really interesting and well-written, but all of the sex scenes are deeply off-putting. The one I'm currently reading (about 2/3rds thrpugh) is very plainly supposed to be awful, but even the "good" sex earlier on is just... ew.

Reading the middle half of this book is the highlight of my birthday. Scouring of the Shire is satisfying, Sharky is a hilarious name, and I want to marry Aragorn, Samwise, Éowyn, and Faramir. Not necessarily in that order.

Michaela R is 41% done with Saint Thomas Aquinas

Chesterton writes beautifully. I am really enjoying his prose. That being said, I do not know enough about Christian thought or saints or philosophy to really understand this book. Enjoying it though.
