Now it has picked up. I’m understanding the characters a little better and the backstory on Three Body the game and how certain characters backstories are intertwined are coming together. I’m very intrigued by the Three Body Problem and how the game works in context of the overall story.

So far I have followed the story pretty easily. The characters are starting to become distinct in my mind even though I have a hard time with Chinese naming schemes. I get a looming sense of terror, which suspect was the goal of the author. I’m very curious how this and the others in the series will go.

Great so far. World building done: virus in full swing. So far great character building. Sometimes forgetting who’s who but that’s to be expected when you don’t read everyday.

Great world building on the first hundred or so pages. Typical King humor and pacing. It is unnerving reading this having come out of a pandemic that was not as deadly as this but nonetheless claimed lives.

More of the same musings. Was surprised at his admission that he left his wife to cook and tend the baby while he read a book on Thanksgiving. I know this is an old book but wow.
