i keep getting lost in thought every 5 pages. this book is so inspiring, but what good is inspiration if it doesn't metabolize? *cue getting lost in thought again*

and what if i cry because, on the walls of an artist's house, amongst masterful oil paintings, framed letters from role models from his early days, and nostalgic pencil drawings from his mother...in the spot of honor lies a child’s stick figure with the words, "you are my best Dabby in the werl."

the squeeziest, most tender book. i want to feel how i felt when reading the first quarter of this book, always.

i am literally desperate to know more about theo. the author is writing this beautifully so far
