Linda is on page 71 of 339 of The Discipline of Grace
Jerry Bridges writes in a way that's easy to read and understand. Chapter four of this particular book got a little too wordy and repetitive for me, which is unusual for the author's writing style. However, the content is still Biblical and the next chapter goes back to his normal way of explaining. An excellent read so far.

Linda is on page 37 of 240 of Slaying the Giants in Your Life: You Can Win the Battle and Live Victoriously
I read the first two chapters. The first is more of an introduction to the whole book and the second is on discouragement. Although I enjoyed these chapters I realize that each chapter deals with a particular difficulty. For that reason I would suggest not making yourself read it cover to cover. Rather, read it as needed so that it is more relatable to your situation.

Linda is on page 8 of 224 of One Perfect Word: One Word Can Make All the Difference
Chapter one starts on page three and by page seven I was having a tearful moment. If this is an indication of how the rest of the book goes I know I'll enjoy it.

I love that the study guide is included in the back of the book, but it is a little confusing. For example Chapters 13 and 14 which are on pages 99 through 108 correlate with Lesson 10 questions found on page 167. My friend finds this confusing, but says it's a minor thing when reading such a great book. I agree. The lessons great for personal heart searching as well as great discussion questions.

Why can't I stop reading this book? I should be sleeping. Maybe that will happen after one more chapter.

Linda is finished with If I'm Found (If I Run, #2)
Terri Blackstock's If I Run series is definitely binge worthy. If I'm Found, the second book, kept me awake reading just like the first, If I Run. As soon as I finish this short review, I'm going to start the third, If I Live. I'm invested and want to know how the story continues.

I never get too old for a Grace Livingston Hill book. It's been a long time since I read one and Exit Betty reminded me why I love her books. They are easy to read without being boring.

I immediately cared about the main character. Not far into the book I greatly disliked a few characters. I've read many Grace Livingston Hill books, but it's been a long time since I picked one up. This one already has my heart.

Linda is on page 181 of 192 of Respectable Sins
I'm buddy reading this book with friends and we're all loving it. It's a book that includes Questions for discussion.
What are respectable sins? We all know things like murder and stealing are sins, but are you convicted that impatience is a sin? What about slander and irritability, jealousy and discontented? This is a great read.

Linda is on page 133 of 266 of A Mother's Climb Out Of Darkness: A Story about Overcoming Postpartum Psychosis
I had heard of postpartum depression, but not postpartum pyschosis. This is an excellent book to gain some understanding of what a mother experiences during postpartum pyschosis.

Another great book in The Domestic Diva series. I love the fun rivalry between Sophie and Natasha and the mysteries keep me guessing. A light, easy and enjoyable read.

So far I'm really enjoying this book. It isn't a slow read, but I'm reading it slower because there is a lot of good information to absorb. When Lee Strobel interviewed someone he shared it with his questions and the answers he received. This helps me keep my thoughts organized as I annotate.

The rumors are true. If you are a Little Women by Louisa May Alcott fan then you will enjoy The Sisters of Sea View by Julie Klassen. Of course, no one will ever copy Little Women, but I am delighted with this book so far.

The second chapter drew me in and I loved Mumsie, but so far nothing else stands out. I'll keep reading because I'm told it will be worth it. Sometimes the best parts of a book are hidden until the right moment.

I didn't see the last paragraph of page 20 coming. Surprised and intrigued.
