The Science of Logic (Hegel Translations)
Reading this is like sitting with a guy in complete darkness , all the while, the guy is explaining to you what darkness looks like.
Nothingness has very thin contours , and “being” even thinner , but somehow he has traced it.
I Would never recommend this, not even to my worst enemy.

Society of the Spectacle
“The illusory paradise that represented a total denial of earthly life is no longer projected into the heavens, it is embedded in earthly life itself. The spectacle is the technological version of the exiling of human powers into a “world beyond”; the culmination of humanity’s internal separation.”

Metaphysics of War
– his feeling that, basically, he ‘comes from afar’ – will remain a fundamental element which will not give rise to mystical escapism and spiritual weakness, but rather will enable him to minimise, to relativise, to refer to higher concepts of measure and limit, all that can seem important and definitive to others, starting with death itself, and will confer on him calm force and breadth of vision.

A Season in Hell
“I finally chased the blue from the sky, this blue that’s really black; and I lived, a golden spark, forged from natural light.

A Dream Play
— And why does man weep when he is sad? I asked at last — Because the glass in the eyes must be washed now and then, so that we can see clearly, said the child.
