I’m liking the wit in this book but i think im setting myself up for failure trying to compare it to Pratchett’s wit in writing

needed something lighter to intersperse with 2666 lol

part 4 done. Very monotonous with sprinkles of plot progression throughout, but the brutality and the monotony (and the combination of both) is the point. A painful drag that culminates in an excited air of suspense as the part ends.
