Okay I get it but like I don’t really like how Saeris is so ignorant to the situation that’s unwinding in-front of her because she’s “too busy” to tend to it. Everybody has things they need to do but also why can’t you have some curiosity once in a while?

Okay my take is that the book belongs to Edina and not only does it have the solution to the rot but it will have Fishers true name that’s why he can’t know about the book.

Tbh I don’t really see Carrions purpose—As in why it was him who was chosen to go through the quicksilver. Like I’m still a bit suspicious as to why he’s always in places during weird times e.g sleeping in the forge. I thought he’d do a two faced act but he seems loyal to Saeris(atm). Maybe I’m just untrusting but honestly I’d be a bit disappointed if at the end he’s just there for comedic relief.

I feel like this part is written well because in other books, there’s a known history about the fae but in this world, theres no knowledge. Humans are portrayed as greedy, weak, curious and blinded beings and I think Saeris depicts this so well. She’s so innocent in the sense that she’s not “trained” to handle her emotions or senses around them therefore the perfect picture of a human through fae lenses.

I would give anything right now to reread acotar and tog for the first time again. I miss them so much I’m crying.

I’ve never disliked a character so much. Even from the start. Tharion… you aggravate me. First, using Ari as a bargaining chip, then leaving Cormac to die, then defecting, then letting Ithan go through with the fight, then jumping onto the boat bcos he felt trapped from the mess HE made, and now you think it some noble act to save Sathia, some burden you should bear bcos that will right your many wrongs? No.
