one hawthorne night - i have read this already.

five times xander tackled someone (& one time he didn’t) - idk nothing special, i’m glad each tackle was just a chapter, ig it gave xander some depth? idrk, i will forget about it soon and very willingly. minus a point for max saying “mother faxer”

the cowboy and the goth - following the last short story this one is boring but at least there’s a happy ending!! I didn’t care for nash and libby content but if I did i’d be furious because there was no nash and libby content, just fifty pages of things we already knew.

the same backwards as forwards - um that added so much depth to the inheritance games like you don’t even understand, that was necessary and lovely and important and devastating. deserved the grace of its own book and not a collection of short stories. the book is five stars just from that entry alone.

a night in prague - nice but very unnecessary, i’m glad they still partake in games but I don’t need to read about them.

i appreciate how similar the movie is to the book

the book is miles faster than the movie, thank gat (do you see what i did there, instead of thank gyatt i did thank gat cause it’s the great gatsby 😉😜)

for a school book the movie was fab (emphasis on for a school book) but i am adoring this writing style and how he describes everyone around him so angelically.

apart from the long chapters, I don’t see a problem but the plot looks very boring. that’s not a plot, that’s just a dynamic.

major issue - sometimes they speak in chinese and do not translate it, usually only a sentence but a sentence I do not understand 😔

it’s giving min ho and kitty, their personalities and dynamic is quite similar

i am one chapter in but I thought I should give Freida another chance knowing what to expect (that is a lie, I just don’t want to look like a super fan, it’s more of a coincidence) but there is another doctor obsessed with cutting people open and another creepy man at the bar that won’t take the hint to go away 🤨

there are two levels of lacking common sense
1. pouring ice cream all over the floor because you didn’t put a bowl under the handle when you turned it on (happened last night)
2. blocking someone you should trust who tells you “you are in danger”
one is a bit more detrimental to your life

the main character is as good as dead

it’s a very short and fast paced story
