Love ghost hunting the descriptive writing is beautiful!

So far so good! Enjoying it I watched the movie first, unfortunately, but it’s aesthetically pleasing and heard the book is better. (Certainly is!) the letter system is really cool and just being in someone else consciousness like that is awesome.

I’ve been reading this for my literature coursework. I’ve seen the 60s black and white film adaptation and it seems quite close to the book, to be fair. The book, so far seems to drag out through conversations but the tension is made fairly nicely, the impactful ones seem to be near the end, but throughout Eleanor is a pleasant character to follow with a few flaws that can be irritating.
