What a beautiful writing style…a tender tale that has me hooked!

This medical drama has gripped me-as it shows the world in the grips of a deadly pandemic…the novel precedes COVID-19.

Such a sweet story and I have noted so many passages that I love!

A light read set in Texas-predictable but still enjoyable reading!

An official states..7 hours after the horrific explosion…that the situation is normal. Radiation levels are rising. WOW! I keep yelling in my head ‘Evacuate Pripyat already!!”

This book is a delight! After reading THe Book of longings and loving that one, I read some different genres and authors. Then back to Sue Monk Kidd…boy! Her writing speaks to me the same way that William Kent Krueger’s words do! I’m flying through this….

Really, really enjoying this book!

This family saga is really pulling me in…messy, loving, funny- each daughter has her own intensity that propels the family’’s story.

A nice light read about two sisters and their appearance on a reality show called Food Wars…

So interesting- learning about the human costs of inequality related to Amazon’s expansion into different regions of the country. The winning and losing regions and some personal stories of workers in delivery hubs, data centers, and corporate campuses.

Wow! Adunni is such a strong character...All you have are your words... reading the book in Adunni’s dialect is a bit taxing at times, but so worth the whole experience!

So far I’m really enjoying the story! Evelyn is a force to be reckoned with but also has a soft and vulnerable side.
