Are all romantasy books now a different and weaker take on Hunger Games?

Wow, Deus Ex Machina much? FMC is miserable in her life BAM INHERITANCE! Seems rather unimaginative

I’m not sure why it’s such a sensation, quite boring, too much setup and just not that enjoyable

I really want to like the book but gosh it’s so slow… I really hope it will pick up soon

Cool idea, a bit annoying switches of POV (well, it’s a 3rd person narrative but still)

The book is hilarious, really. But the audiobook lector is kinda meh

It is really slow and again, the writing feels sometimes like a fanfic. And each POV sounds actually exactly the same, so it doesn’t feel believable that those are different characters.

Idk, I’m not far in and there are already a bit too many POVs, as well as questionable behaviours of characters.

It’s sexy, but I can’t really stand Theo’s personality and behaviour. Kit on the other hand is delightful

Up until now the book was quite meh. Then it made me cry.

I don’t feel the romance of it at all, but it’s a proper drama.

I’m still waiting for the characters to understand what workplace misconduct and sexual harassment is.

Especially knowing that he is following her (like a creepy stalker) to a conference she didn’t tell him about or invited him to. On the same flight, staying at the same hotel… wow mate!

Am I supposed to root for them?!

She told him to stop the flirting and that she’s uninterested. He thinks they have some “sparks” flying so he keeps it up. Like… is it ok because he’s rich and hot? Is that what Americans are used to? That respecting someone’s wishes is optional?

Those people fall for one another very fast. How long do they know each other? 5 days? Hurricane pace.

I keep forgetting how much I hate billionaire romance books, this one is not an exception.

Also I believe the droid was supposed to be cute but what I feel is annoyance. And its existence is pretty much imaginary, because the code to make him so realistically behaving would have to be close to self-awareness. I don’t appreciate it
