As a Janeite snob, I don't read many Austen retellings. But a coal baron Darcy and a geologist's daughter/Virginia country girl Lizzy sounded too fun. So far I'm being proved correct!

A year ago a swoony little romcom set in Puerto Rico titled SHALL I STAY released, and a nerdy little Puerto Rican became a full-length author.

I'm an ebook girl myself, but you should know Folio Society has their Heyer editions half-off. They're drool-worthy.

You know it's good when I still have a good chunk of book left but have to stop to start typing out a raving review. SO MUCH TO SAY.

I should tell you that November is National Puerto Rican Heritage month and you should celebrate reading a swoony romance like Shall I Stay.

You know the KU is about to run out when the FOMO takes over and mood reading gets more random. This seemed like it had grovel.

I have no patience for any other app as I do for Goodreads. Takes an age to load, doesn’t notify me of half the things, and in this modern age, I can’t even comment back. Any other app, I’d delete, but not Goodreads, keep coming back, top 5 most used apps, like a temperamental friend you tolerate.

I don't have a booksta, so this will do to shout from the rooftops that two of my favorite reads last year are free today! The Matrimonial Advertisement by Mimi Matthews (a nice and gothicy marriage of convenience) and An Improper Agreement by Audra Wells (fabulous E2L). Ok, I let you know, I feel better now.
