A very cute love story with lots of potential but ultimately did not live up to it. The entire subplot being about the Taliban and war in Afghanistan was not only unnecessary but also just so strange. And the random side plot with her sister being there. Not the kind of book that makes you fall in love with and understand the characters on a deep level so lots of character development was missing for me.
