Oh my gosh I’m laughing so hard. Arioch is hilarious and so much fun

I love this book. Seriously it’s so sweet and cozy and happy and everything I needed right now. Both the main characters are adorable and the side characters are so wholesome.

I want to like this… but it’s so slow so far! And if the MMCs truly do intend to let the FMC heal before they continue a relationship- the author is going to have to do a few time jumps rather than writing it day by day. I do appreciate them realizing she is not in a healthy place even when she is trying to reach out. Let’s see if they stick with it.

The scene where her kiddo is playing with the guys with nerf guns is seriously adorable. I love it so much.

These books are so unbelievably unhinged I’m shocked I’m actually going to read the second, but I want to see how Layrin’s story develops.

Second (or third?) time reading and the amount of times Charlotte giggles is starting to drive me nuts. It makes her look like a 12 year old, not 16. It’s probably more noticeable because I’ve been reading books with 30 year old MCs recently but it’s so distracting. Doesn’t change the fact that I love the books but it’s pretty hard to read sometimes.

Finished the first book but I couldn’t get into it. Maybe I’ll try again but I’m setting it aside for now.

“It isn’t fun when your snack fights back, is it? I thought to myself. I should know, ice-cream tore up my insides every time I ate it.” Same girl, same. Also I’m actually really enjoying this book. A light read but there is such a cool foresty vibe.

I’m still peeved that the author dropped Delta’s story to focus on Medley. I don’t really think we needed another FMC in the story and there was so much more that could have been explored with Delta and her guys. I just can’t seem to connect with Medley and her guys, despite the fact that she is (somewhat annoyingly)written as more “ready” for the job. Delta was kickass and hilarious and I’m so bummed.

I finished the first book- interesting but just not holding my attention. I’m not giving up, but I think I’m going to take a break for a bit.

I’m really trying with this one. It isn’t bad, just a little slow and nothing like what the cover suggests, but I think it’s mostly because I don’t like high fantasy. It doesn’t help that I just read a fantastic UF RH and a great contemporary RH, so I’m just not in the mood for high fantasy. Contemplating DNF’ing

Just finished The Veil Diaries and the first book in the new Darkest Whisper series that follows Lexie and the guys as they start college and wow... talk about a book hangover. Definitely ranks in my top 10 series and I can't wait for the next book.
