I want to like this book, but I’m having a hard time coping with the complete lack of communication between characters. Maybe that’s what makes it so good? I mean half their shit could be solved with better communication.
Maybe it’s bc I relate too closely and see too much of my own family reflected in this book.
All that aside, the writing is great, I’m just screaming

I def didn’t realize just how long this book was before starting it. I’ve borrowed it from the library twice and ran out the loan both times and I’m only 1/2 way through. It’s a really good read so I just bought it so I can take my time 😂
