kate :P is starting The Old Man and the Sea
I thought I’d give Hemingway a shot but I kinda wish Hemingway had shot me. not done with the book yet so a more cogent review is coming. but it’s a kinda cute story with wayyy too much fishing terminology (not sure what I expected; Hemingway is known for sparse prose). I’ve never read Moby Dick but they seem to be from the same formula: sea creature + male protagonist + obsession. 👴🎣🛶
