Good chapter (#2) on Proverbs

I've read the first four chapters, and I'm definitely intrigued but I had to give the book back.

This was the second time I read this book, but it has been several years. The chaos here is almost calming- not the page turner from 2015, but I enjoyed returning to a version of Princess Mia that is a similar age to myself.

This book was so close to being Great but something about the transitions left me confused at times. Most of the characters had singular motives, that weren't very noble, which added to the social commentary within the writing. The women were much more complex and interesting than the men, but the men ate up so many pages. But the message and imagery of the book were definite strengths- so 4 stars.
