On one hand I do like this man (excluding the first 10% of the book or so), on the other hand 1) the turnaround was SOOOOOO rapid and now there is literally no reason for there to be an argument/third act breakup. The worldbuilding is so messy. How can u possibly be a non-believer when u acknowledge the warding effect of Holy Water on the undead. Why isn’t the church a heavier presence here. Why have we yet to see a single warlock if it’s ostensibly the witches AND warlocks association. Why is there a reference to kindergarten macaroni art. How does a city where food is scarce have mascara and facial cream.

For the record if the main character really did recite 117,989 digits of pi in 10 hours that would be an *average* of MORE than three numbers per second. For ten consecutive hours.

Out of curiosity I looked it up (Pi World Ranking List) and a guy took 17 hours to list 70,030 digits.
