hey this book is fun

hell of mirrors was okay. rampo really enjoys voyeurism huh

ive already read some of the short stories here so quick review:

the chair: not only my favorite ranpo short story but also one of my favorites of anything! so good. so unnerving.

psychological test: fun inverted mystery. reminded me a bit of columbo the way they catch the criminal

caterpillar: it's great but god i will probably never read this again lol

cliff: fun! may be a bit cliche in todays age but i love it

there're some very great stories there ("queer feet" and "sign of the broken sword comes to mind) but god i hated almost all of them LMAO yeah chesterton is just not for me i fear. however with all that being said i still quite like father brown whenever he isn't being used as a mouthpiece for chesterton to be annoying about something. cool guy. liked flambeau too
