Screw it, what's one more dystopia added to the pile.

Re-reading this because apparently the audiobook managed to abridge a 270 page book, as insane as that sounds.

This is going to be my favorite Poirot novel because it's the only one to touch on both ancient aliens and the wireless radio signals are driving people insane conspiracy theories. 10/10 no notes

Oh my god, I take back all the bad things I ever said about Captain Hastings being an idiot in Poirot novels. The narrator of this book is next level. My kingdom for a golden age detective narrator with a functioning cerebral cortex.

Keeping it a buck twenty five, this should not be an audiobook. It's not "trying to do an audiobook of House of Leaves" level, but the prologue is a flyer for the event and the author meta-narratively mentions the case is solved through anagrams and punctuation so I guess I'm just going to be in the blind.

Raymond Thomas is starting Nuclear War: A Scenario
The real world and listening to a book about a world without Jane Eyre was all just too heavy, so I needed a bit of light reading to distract myself.
