Prose is some of the most gorgeous ive ever reab by McCarthy. The river community is dingy as heck but the dialogue is so far a lot more light hearted than the other novels, thought I would start reading this because child of god got too heavy. Oh yeah also one of the main characters is a serial watermelon fucker
