picked it up to read about an unlikeable lesbian narrator goin off the rails and right when i was like “eh maybe i’ve exhausted this genre” i was roped back in w the horny lesbian yearning…. it is KILLING me to put this down and go to sleep rn

kind of annoyed w some of the narrator’s takes on lesbianism but that should probably be the least of my concerns about her behavior LMAO

squeezing in a short book to get back on track w my reading challenge 😮‍💨 the cover caught my eye at the bookstore and i picked it up and saw it was agustina bazterrica ! loved tender is the flesh and also was excited to learn minutes ago that she has another novel out. so much good stuff to reaaaad

so so interesting and i’m learning so much— such a thoughtful deep dive into the culture that shape how we understand ourselves and our own lives!!
