I'm gonna give it the full five stars because I did really enjoy it and I appreciated the epilouge but there's a couple things here & there that I'm not fully sure how I feel about yet. I did like it tho, & the things that did come back up made me happy & I probably would recommend it to others. So yea, it's gonna get the full five but I wanted to make this statement first lol. I think I'm too critical really.

Not even about where I am but Hero by Faouzia is such a Teo/Aurelio song and we should all listen to it & think of them lol.

Something about where I am I appreciate how much they get their butts kicked lol really keeps the point solid I'd say. (Also I'm leaning towards not on the Vengaza point but I'm not 100 it might be nuanced or maybe I'm adding more nuance than there is.)

We are so back! I keep forgetting to update my progress but yes I am reading this book for real now. One thing I'm trying to figure out is if Venganza is genuinely interested in being a decent father or not. I think it would sorta foght the themes of the book if he was but ot would also make sense. So I wonder which way the story will unfold on that front

In other news I need more screen time for my boy Dezi frfr

Not sure if I'm losing focus because I'm tired or because I'm losing interest 🤔 We'll see I guess.

Really close to finishing this book and I'm not entirely sure how I feel yet. Maybe after reading the ending I will but idk. Like there's aspects I appreciate and the formatting, tho it sometimes gives me pause, doesn't make the book unreadable. It's still fairly easy to read. I just. Hm... idk. My "gripes" are nitpicks and there's no real reason to say I don't like it but. Idk. Idk how I feel about it yet.

Thank you screenwriting/film for teaching me to be okay reading present tense. I didn't even notice this book was until it switched back after a flashback section.

This book is easy to read so far but something that's itlnteresting format wise that I'm not sure how I feel about it yet is that when time has passed, between scenes, between chapters, the following paragraph starts w/ the first three words in all caps.

Technically I've just read the sample but I'm very excited and ready to get my hands on it and read more. I'm glad where the book starts because I had questions from the first one and they have been answered. Thank you very much ^^

Oh my gosh, something I consodered bit kept pushing back actually was the case oof. Bout to keep reading for explanations. I knew this kid was potentionally shifty. Dang.

I wanna highlight stuff in this book so bad. The character descriptions, the location descriptions, everytime Aurelio cares in ways harder for others to pick up on, details about Xio(trying to see ifb, details on the culture of the locations they go to, just lines I like. I wanna highlight so bad. Technically I can but it's a library ebook. So I can't keep it. But yes I'm very much liking reading it.

I am loving the discriptions I need someone to draw them, I might have to draw them wow. Especially Niya! I'm gonna have to look up fanart, I don't want to be spoiled so later I guess, just in case lol.

(Also unrelated but idk how to properly mark my distance I'm reading an ebook version which says it has 595pgs while this book listing says 352 pgs so it just confuses me a bit. I'm on Chapter 5 tho.)

It's a little too bad Nort didn't get to adventure more but I am curious if he's gonna be stuck for a while or not. Meanwhile, I am excited to see what goes on with the bandits. Pretty sure they just appeared. I initially thought some sort of deal was made but I realize it might have been theft and that'd be fun.

I do like this take on the "complete this task and you get the princess's hand in marriage" plot and I like that there are people her age that she's friends with. I don't mind the idea of her and Cam as a thing, but I hope they don't continue with Dilly and Nort being a thing. Also I like the scenes about her parents, I'm sure I know where it's going and I think it's being done well.

So far I think I am liking the book, I just wished I knew how old the other important characters are. Am I to assume they are the same age as the Princess (15) since they are essentially her friend group and the two that aren't her best friend have been mentioned to be related to someone older? I had thought it was to establish how they came to be in their position but maybe it was also saying they were still youths.
