Julie is starting Red Sparrow (Red Sparrow Trilogy, #1)
Very complex since the author was a former CIA officer. So good though!

Julie is 17% done with Becoming Kim Jong Un: A Former CIA Officer's Insights into North Korea's Enigmatic Young Dictator
Interesting to read about Kim’s hatred toward Japan and how it was developed. North Koreas ties to Russia and China are key in understanding the history of NK.

The book is wonderfully written. After reading the first page I feel as if I’m living the story. The author captures emotions so perfectly and it’s hard not to get caught up in his world.

I can’t even believe what I’m reading in this book. Everytime I turn the page I think “The US really did that?!”

Julie is starting Braiding Sweetgrass: Indigenous Wisdom, Scientific Knowledge, and the Teachings of Plants
Wonderfully written and very enjoyable read. I’ve learned so much that my science textbooks didn’t offer. While it is good to be knowledgeable it needs to be used to make your surroundings better. I learned more about gratitude and why we need to give back what we’ve used. And there’s nothing dirty about dirt ❤️🖤😊!!
