less graphic, I guess that’s a positive?

I am at a loss of how to think of the primary character that’s being followed. I feel frustrated with Jude and his complete lack of allowing people to help him or to help himself properly.

Powering through though!

Colton Boothe is on page 243 of 720 of A Little Life
I started this in late September and had to shelve it for a minute due to the trauma it dives into in such vivid detail.

Aiming to get this finished before year end but if you’re considering reading it, be warned that this is not an easy read simply due to the nature of the topics discussed.

I’m getting into the rhythm, this book is so incredibly insightful yet gut wrenching at the same time. Walt looks at the trauma for the gay community and how it differs for varying groups of them but the crossover that still links the groups together.

The first hand stories and transcripts are my favorite tie-ins.

Love the book and what it is about, however, it is written very academically which makes it difficult to truly dive into.

This book is too reminiscent of my upbringing — it is so hard to put it down.
