It is interesting and compelling. I keep wondering what will happen next. Though so far, the idea behind the plot seems superficial. I hope it gets more profound.

So far, dialogues were unnatural. The author interrupts the narration here and there to info dump, where a lot of fellow fantasy writers already found a way to interweave that information into the narration. And comments about female characters were concerning. Not enough to tempt me when there are a lot of good books waiting for me to read.
