Can’t read a single book at a time to save my life

Finally decided to try out a romantasy book-tok series

Me during the first two stories: “this is pretty tame”
Me onwards: “oh”

It’s giving trauma porn but also kind of making me reflect on things so ?

as the name suggests it’s kinda bleak

Locking in before the library charges me for this very overdue book

Over halfway done!!!! Trying to power through. I think it’s getting more exciting but maybe I’m just developing Stockholm Syndrome idk

Okay so Cathy is dead and we’re like halfway through the book this is not like the movie!!

Okay we finally have some action. It’s slow going but it’s action. Shoutout to Scarlett and Melanie for being literally the only two people to do anything around here.

honestly kind of digging it except for the way she wrote Joseph’s speech (which is also my main complaint when it comes to Gone with the Wind/Percival/any other book where they write out a dialect). Maybe I’m just bad at reading in that way??

Anything b it finishing Gone with the Wind apparently

finally have time to read hallelujah

Finally has picked up now that the Yankees are coming!!!! Except I have to give it back to the library so they don’t think it’s stolen…tbc

It’s not bad but it’s so slow going. Why is the font so small?? Why don’t the chapters start on a new page??

Ignored the trigger warnings at the beginning and now I’m like damn (not triggered just shocked)

Ignoring my other books for this whoooops

I may have been wrong about said affair

I’m calling a Greta/Jon affair now

Interesting

You know what I’m into it
