Cannot judge the writing as bad because it is not bad, it’s just different as it comes from a different time. Speaking of time, the “jump cuts” for lack of better term sure give you whiplash as a reader! It’s definitely helpful to be familiar with a film or tv version of Arthur beforehand, so your brain can do less thinking. I’m obsessed with BBCs Merlin which is why I started reading.

At first I did not care at all for Ben and Radar so I was extremely bored and wanted the adventure to begin. Then I was shocked at how quickly the Long Night of pranks went as I thought that was the whole book. I am now PLEASANTLY surprised to find a MYSTERY!!! Also must point out that 2/3 John Green books I’ve read have been about Teen Boy Who Likes Mysterious Girl (third being Anthropocene, other being Alaska)

I might DNF this one. Kind of disappointed because I liked Looking for Alaska so much. The characters in Paper Towns however are not super interesting, even Margo is just sort of meh to me.

Liking this! Only John Green I’ve read is The Anthropocene Reviewed so I’m enjoying his fiction. Feeling the anticipation of when we get to “after.” Also getting the feeling that (as the name would suggest) it’s more about Alaska than Pudge. Predicting that Pudge doesn’t change all that much but Alaska goes through a life altering event.

Haven’t been able to attach to any of the books I’ve started recently - they’re all good but just haven’t felt right for this moment. So far in liking this so I’m thinking I’ll keep going!

WOW I’ve already cried so much, I did not expect this. I think this one is going to hit hard in the Things That Personally Effect Me Emotionally Department.

Thank god there’s some humor sprinkled throughout, it gives me a moment to breathe!

Boring scene about breathing and meditation followed by extremely spicy scene is so cruel, Sarah. However meditation scene is setting up some interesting character growth for Nesta!

Whoa marshy bog and scary monsters this is fun I missed when this series was creepy and dark!

Chapter 31 fun and exciting!!

OKAY SO FIRST OF ALL SPICYYYY! Second of all, I’m a little peeved that we’re just gonna “Feyre is pregnant and cant be here” as an excuse because I like her!! Where’s my girl!! Third, wow that scene with Nesta and her power and Rhys seeing the dream oh my goodness!

Okay I was kind of on the right path about her wanting to get other women involved in the training and I’m glad it’s the library ladies!! And maybe potentially Emerie soon!

EEEEEEEEEE training has begun :) and bargaining!

I’m suspicious of Jurian and I am LOVINV Clotho and Gwyn and everything Nesta is getting from the library, no matter how short those scenes are.

I am ever suspicious of Eris…

With Cassian trying to get the girls at camp to train and also trying to train Nesta, I am sensing that she’ll be motivated to train to prove a point to/about the other girls and I am HERE FOR IT!!

It’s slow to get into at first but so far I’m enjoying it, and I’m looking forward to what’s to come!

AHHH Birthday gifts and Solstice gifts how sweeeeeet and the cakeeeee these guys and their found family ugh

Cute little Christmas episode!! I like it because it feels like it’s wrapping up some of the social plot points that were left hanging in Wings and Ruin, without making the post-war part of Wings and Ruin feel like it’s dragging on. LOVE the different perspectives!!! It feels episodic, and reminds me of The Tales of Ba Sing Se from Avatar :)

Girl has got TRAUMA and I am here for it! I am SO suspicious of Rhysand and what his intentions are, ALSO suspicious of Ianthe… she seems to perfect to calm and collected, also she LEFT THE WEDDING instead of helping when Rhysand appeared! Why do all the other priestesses hate her??

The description of the Night Court sounds STUNNING ugh
