like girl there ain’t no way the potion did a thing it’s your BLOOD as it so OBVIOUSLY mentioned when Taran was wounded and conveniently healed. Also Umbros is like “dude I need you, I can’t trust who’s next” and she’s like “well sorry I’m gonna possibly kill you and lose all chances at answers too?!?” Diem is so so so dumb and it PAINS ME.

This book is really pissing me off and I’ve considered DNFing SO MANY TIMES. You’re telling me you’re supposed to be this all powerful amazing queen but you are continuously being stupid and not seeing what is right in front of you????

I fear I’m not sure anymore if I never finished the series. I don’t remember the stuff currently going on but I swear I know other plot points that haven’t happened yet…. UGH SO FRUSTRATING

I’ve cried twice. This is a bit of a hard read, and not because it’s written poorly, it’s written beautifully, but because it’s honest in a painful way that allows you to acknowledge the lack of truth we’ve been forced to grow up on. Especially as a white individual it’s a message that is necessary.

This book actually is surprising so much it’s so original.

This book is borderline creepy, listening to the audiobook on a rainy pitch black car ride all alone was NOT the move, but I’m SAT. Picked it up because the cover was pretty, stayed because it’s an originally story telling with gorgeous world building and concepts.

I’m gonna be honest guys… I think Kai might be a little TOO angsty for me rn. Like the constant proclamations of how much he needs her is feeling a bit repetitive and it PAINS ME to say that.

Ngl this writing is PAINFUL after reading a literal masterpiece of literature… but on I will go.

Heheheh I’m giggling so hard. This dual POV is done SO WELL.

Okay so the reason this fanfic is so popular is becuase it’s so realistic. Like thinking about it, Hermione did so much for Ron and Harry with zero appreciation. Ofc if a war raged they’d both be closed off and closed minded. I absolutely love the direction this is going realistic and well written.

YES YES YES this is giving Celeana/ Aelin and I’m LOVING IT. Also the whole “finding eachother everytime?” BREAKS AND HEALS MY HEART ALL IN ONE YEYYEYE.

A little scared cuz like I was not expecting Adams pov at all. Is this where I start to hate him? Cuz I know I’m gonna at some point. Up till now I literally couldn’t have cared less about him, but I’m curious.
