Uber excited about this one!

At some point, I was tempted to put the book down and just pretend that what happens by the end of chap. 2 was the happy ever after some characters really deserved... the book is a rude awakening but the few moments of crystalized happiness in it are of an unfathomable wholesomeness. There is also an emphasis on the quarter-life crisis and of its consequences. Eerily relatable as I'm making that leap tomorrow...

I'm dehydrated. The writing is so beautiful and clever that the book almost feels sentient... and I haven't even scratched the surface yet! Jude...
