Reading this for my Engl 102 class🥲

Alright holy so I just finished the first chapter and WHAT😀 “I’m scared that she will allow me into her bedroom when her parents aren’t home so that we can finally be alone together. And I’m terrified that the moment I get her alone, I will wrap my fingers around her pretty, white neck and squeeze the life out of her.”

I AM ALREADY SO INTERESTED LIKE CRAZYYY START

I’m trying so hard to get out of this slump. Hopefully these short (I hope) chapters will save me. A mystery can’t do me wrong.. I think?

Wow it’s been awhile. I actually really liked this plot and don’t know why I haven’t picked it up in almost 2 years 🫠

Whenever I’m in the mood for this genre I’ll read this. I think I read half of the first page and wasn’t feeling it

I can’t remember anything in this book. All I remember is a rotting pumpkin patch and a giant pumpkin - come back..?

I really am gonna try and come back.. I got distracted with school and then started reading other books and now I don’t even remember what’s going on in this one anymore.

Yeah I’m def in a slump I read like 2 paragraphs and was over it.. I’ll probably come back in the summer

Kinda sorta got bored and read ahead and spoiled the ending and now I don’t wanna finish bc I gotta wait for the next book.. so probably gonna finish this in the summer or whenever my classes end- also feel like I’m entering a reading slump

I’m not giving up on ouabh but I cannot memorize all the important stuff happening in that book rn! So im taking an actual break from schoolwork for once (pretty sure its been 5 weeks since ive read a page at all) and forcing myself to read a more light hearted book- super excited for this one!!!

Also there’s no way im gonna hit my reading goal for this year at this point😭 unless i willingly decide to give up on my life ahead of me

Uh so idek what page im actually on I haven’t read in like 2 weeks minimum 😭 im gonna guess how many it was- I’ve been really busy and it’s really unfortunate that I can’t just read whenever I want anymore cause of how freaking busy I am with classes and everything I have going on! I’m at a really good part, so hoping to read soon! Anyways that’s the reason it’s taking me so long!!

I just finished SOTR today and I’m afraid if I don’t start immediately reading a book I’ll never recover because the Hunger Games books are amazing so here I am reading this- I’ve wanted to read it for awhile so I hope it lives up to its hype!

I feel left out having not read the series so here we are!

I’m super excited to read- my dad had to read this for high school so I’m curious what it’s like- also I heard this was a good book and it’s on the banned book list so ofc I have to read this

So I just finished reading 9 books of a series and they aren’t even on Goodreads (I guess they aren’t official books?) so technically I’m at 11 books read this year (give or take) but moving on to this book!!! One of my friends in gov swapped books with me, and she told me this book was really good so here I am reading it!

In light of the TikTok ban happening in literal days I haven’t been reading much but I saw a video on how this book is going to be banned apart of P2025. Which is honestly ironic considering where we are headed towards as a society and the message this book conveys
