Two chapters in. There’s something awful the main character, Cooper, has done but it has yet to be said. Maybe it has something to do with the death of his former girlfriend, Cindy, and mother to the child he has with him, Finch.
The neighbor, Scotland, however, knows what he has done. But wants no harm and wants a friendly relationship. Waiting for Jake to arrive with supplies for him and Finch.
