Halfway point now - maybe I’ll go watch the film now?

Utterly impeccable book. So thrilling, and so full of feeling. I’m finding an deeper empathy this time round - particularly for the likes of Edgar and Hindley, understanding them on an entirely different level, understanding their motivations and their redemptions fully now - which I think is one of Emily Brontë’s singular talents with this book.

Wow, the Graham Park portion of the book is absolutely atrocious

Glad to see Banks expanding the superstitiously-ritualistic-empatheticaly-paranoid character repertoire even further I’ve never felt more seen
