I'm liking this book much more the second time around

This book really had me hooked until halfway through, then it lost a lot of it's steam. Kuang does a really good job helping you identify with the characters, and it helps that it is such a small cast, but I wish she didn't say the quiet parts out loud sometimes. Also frustrating that the listed motivation for the characters to take this awful journey is just saying "they had to" in such an unconvincing manner

Spain's history is interesting but jesus christ this book is dry as hell I'm never going to finish this one

Man I’m tipsy in Barcelona and I’m so happy I brought this book I love this series so much. These short stories are lovely. The one I’m on is a fan fiction about Cervantes which is hilarious. Can’t wait to read the Gaudí story before I see Park Güell tomorrow I absolutely love this series

I'm blown away by the depth of this book. I did not expect to feel this way

This book is spectacular. I'm really hoping it continues this momentum. Would have been possibly the best novella I've ever read if it ended right now, so let's see what happens next

One of my favorite parts of reading is getting to see a glimpse of another person's view of the world, especially when they are far more articulate and poetic than I could ever hope to be. The juxtaposition between the falling in love and the fading of passion between Amy and Nick is so interesting. How Flynn shows this "love" through each POV is just so fun to read and goes to show how different love is for everyone
