I cannot believe I’ve gone so long without reading a book with a feminist main character like Jane. I never anticipated that I’d enjoy it so much.

Starting audio booking… how could something that I thought to be wrong for so long feel so, so right?

Chapter 3 was TOUGH for me to read by itself. Pretty much no dialogue. Would hardly pick it up after a while and decided to audiobook the chapter while with Allie(my bicycle). Shows my illiteracy.
In a way, super beautiful passage to listen to though. Not a huge audiobook guy by and large, but there is something nice to this. 2nd half was lovely.

Goodreads is feeling a LOT like pre 2017 twitter with this word count.

This will either be the last update I post for this book because it went over my head and I put it down, or it’ll get a 5 star rating in a couple weeks.

We’ll see if I finish this one. Not loving it so far. Reasoning will come in review whenever I finish/put it down.

How are we all feeling about The Horse and His Boy?

Really glad I picked this back up. Brought the book to John’s Hopkins in March for my 5 days of laying down, but had no motivation to read. Was also near the end of a 50 page span where the crew had no interaction with other people so it felt dry to me. I’m past that now and I’m enjoying it.

Slowed down on this one in the hospital too. Picked it back up though and definitely still fire

Kinda paused this one while in the hospital. Really didn’t feel like reading at all while I was in the hole so lost my groove in the story.
