It's like everything it's exploding and I don't know how this whole amalgamation of feelings will be resolved

You see, I think when I opened this book I expected two things already, one would be that for some reason this book would be accurate to reality rn, and the other one that there would not be a happy ending, haven't finished it yet but both of my expectations were true of course

This book is lowkey a dark comedy and i was feeling embarrased for the main character for the whole chapter i just read 😭😭

This man has a great sense of humor, even though he claims he is not making jokes but this book genuinely makes you chuckle with every page you read 😭

The charm about Dostoevsky's character writing style is that he can make 19th century characters relatable no matter if you're reading a book that he wrote over 150 years ago, truly a genius.

Between Eileen and that woman is making me ponder wether the woman is genuinely attracted to Eileen or if she sees Eileen as a useful tool, the same pondering goes for Eileen though, but the book is on her POV so we know she has this love/envy obsession over the woman and probably their friendship toxic af

Hmm, In the movie adaptation there was a kiss in this scene but not on the book, that's interesting

First story done, that was actually very beautiful

I should be reading this in my first language and not in english cause I'm not understanding some of the words in here, I'm enjoying it so far, but I will definitely need a reread some other time
