Okay so. I am not nearly far enough into this book to decide wether or not this is a complete dealbreaker but the writing style is DIABOLICAL. The main character narrates like he is Greg from Diary of a Wimpy Kid if Greg was allowed to swear. I will say that I think Ryan Gosling is going to body this role though

I am really enjoying this so far but I feel like the language is almost TOO flowery bc I have to reread every paragraph like 5 times. Maybe it is simply a skill issue on my part
