Today a patron checked out The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo. I told her how much I enjoyed the book and how that book was what encouraged me to read every book by the author. What I didn’t tell her is that this book, Malibu Rising, may very well be the reason I walk away from this author and never read her works again. Sigh. It’s been a good time.

It happened again. Now I have to read the next book in the series to see if it happens in every book!!
