A book on Lefebvre that is not useless! my prayers have been answered

only 617 pages to go, and a week to read them, ideally. welp

Hoping to find an account of hopelessness that doesn't just end up with thought being an impossibility. Wieringa's essay left me so disappointed in that regard I simply had to seek out another voice.

Leave it to hegelians to set up their system in an early work and then assume readers know it in later books

I know it's a foundational text (for a reason) but I'm still shocked by how relevant it is. Probably feels more so because the imperial boomerang is back for round two. This time as farce?

I'm already reading too much at the same time but I figured this would be a nice 'lighter' read to start transitioning to summer mode. It starts with a schoolteacher confidently getting Hegel wrong so I already feel at home in these pages

That's volume 1 over with! Who in their right mind writes a 250-page introduction and why is it actually good

Managed to use a lot of theory from this book in a presentation for uni, as I'd hoped. Continuing though, because I find Lefebvre's philosophical framework and method really compelling. Plus it'll be a nice distraction from all the Hegel I'll have to close-read this block🙃
